Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

At Tamarack Creek Co., we believe in honest work and standing behind what we make. Every item is crafted by hand, and we want it to reach you in a way that feels right.

OUR APPROACH

We’re a small-batch, handmade shop. Many of our goods are personal in nature or made from natural materials.

Because of that, we handle returns a bit differently than large retailers—always fairly, always thoughtfully.

1. CANCELLATIONS

We understand that you may get cold feet after placing an order! That's Okay! Cancellations must be requested within 6 hours after placing the order. Cancellation requests made after that time period will not be honored, nor will returns be accepted.

2. WHAT CAN BE RETURNED

We accept returns only on unused, unopened items in their original condition.

To be eligible:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery

  • Ship the item back within 14 days of delivery

  • Item must be unused and in original packaging

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. ALL RETURNS ARE SUBJECT TO A 20% RESTOCKING FEE.

3. WHAT CANNOT BE RETURNED

For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Soaps, lotions, salves, or body care products once opened

  • Herbal products, teas, or spices

  • Perfumes or oils once used

  • Custom or made-to-order items

  • Earrings (for hygiene reasons)

If you’re unsure about a product, we’re always happy to help guide you before purchase.

4. DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ORDERS

If something arrives not as it should:

We will:

  • Replace the item, or

  • Offer a refund, depending on the situation

We take care in packing, but if something goes wrong, we’ll make it right.

5. REFUNDS

Once a return is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method

  • Please allow several business days for processing

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

6. EXCHANGES

We do not offer direct exchanges at this time.

If you’d like a different item:

  • Complete a return (if eligible)

  • Place a new order

7. NATURAL VARIATION

Because our goods are handmade:

  • Slight differences in color, scent, or texture are normal

  • Leather, stone, and botanical materials will vary naturally

These are not considered defects, but part of the character of each piece.

8. LOST OR DELAYED PACKAGES

Once your order leaves our hands, it travels with the carrier.

We are not responsible for:

  • Shipping delays

  • Lost or stolen packages

That said, we will always do our best to help you track or resolve an issue when possible.

9. A FINAL WORD

We’re not a factory—we’re a workshop.
